Born in Cooroy, Queensland, Jay is a self-taught artist with a background in hand-painted restoration and graphic design. His work draws on Australia's oceans, bushland and wildlife, brought to life through bold outlines and vivid colour.

Jay sees energy in everything around him. His distinctive outlines capture that sense of life, giving familiar places and creatures a character all their own. Choosing his work celebrates an Australian artist's individual view of the world.
