Jay Allery Canvas
Original canvas works by Australian artist Jay Allery.
Jay was born in Cooroy, Queensland in 1956. No art school. No gallery rep. He picked up a brush because the world wouldn't sit still in his head, and he's been painting ever since.
His style is built on bold linework and saturated colour, the kind that feels like it's vibrating off the canvas. That's intentional. Jay's whole approach runs on a simple belief: everything carries energy, and his job is to put it on canvas before it gets away from him. Nothing in a Jay Allery piece sits still. The bays move. The animals stare back. The colours fight each other and somehow land in the right place.
